Going in with an open heart and mind. Saturday, November 12, 2011. Today we travelled an hour outside of Kaolack to the village of Dissiong. This was a most unusual experience to last year to see not only brick buildings, but also a generator in the village. Last year, the seven villages we visited were comprised of mud huts arranged in fractal geometric patterns, so this was a noted difference. The beginning of the week was full of compromise. Two of our CTI bags had not arrived until a week later.

You may have heard the term mocap or motion capture being thrown but possibly not know what the big commotion was all about. I am sure you are wondering what is motion capture? Well metamotion. com has a simple explanation on their website. This year I had the pleasure of using motion capture for the first time. The experience was confusing, annoying and very frustrating at times. I touched on the problems I had in a previous entry, the section is below.
